Rapid Cure Hobby Glue Accelerator

About this item: GF9 Rapid Cure is a catalyst which acts as an accelerator that allows CAs to quickly cure in thick layers by enhancing the alkaline conditions during polymerization. GF9 Rapid Cure in a spray bottle is normally used to cure the CA that flows from joints when parts are pressed together. Applying an additional bead of thick CA along a seam and then curing it with GF9 Rapid Cure significantly enhances a joint's strength. For difficult to bond materials, GF9 Rapid Cure can be applied to one surface and CA to the opposite surface. When brought together, they will bond instantly. GF9 Rapid Cure activates CA in 6 to 8 seconds without any degrading of the CAs strength, which can occur with many other accelerators. It is compatible with all surfaces, even clear plastic and white foam. The surface properties of some materials, such as being acidic or having very low moisture content, slow down the curing of cyanoacrylates. CA accelerator is formulated to harden CA in ten seconds or less.

Green Stuff Basic Epoxy Sculpting Putty

About this item: Miniature figure sculptors and modelers use Kneadatite Blue/Yellow, which they have nicknamed "Green", for a number of specific uses. Kneadatite is a room-temperature curing epoxy/polyamide sealant in two-part tape form. It is stable in its packaged form consisting of base and curing agent side by side on release film. The base and curing agent are of contrasting colors so that when kneaded together, complete mixing is easily observed. Its adhesive properties allow the artist to add detail gradually, before or after the previously applied Kneadatite has fully hardened. It has excellent adhesion to stone, ceramic, metal, wood, and many plastics including vinyl. When fully hardened, it can be painted, sanded, filed, drilled, tapped, screwed, etc.

About this item: Nicknamed "Brown Stuff", Kneadatite Brown/Aluminum is an epoxy putty well known for its long work life, non-grainy texture and its ability to hold fine detail. Brown/Aluminum cures hard so it may be filed, sanded and cut to achieve hard edges, sculpt machines and build understructure. It may also be mixed with Kneadatite Blue/Yellow to increase the hardness of "Green Stuff". Miniatures sculpted with Kneadatite "Brown Stuff" withstand the heat and pressure of the mold making process (vulcanization). Mixing proportions can be adjusted to control curing time. 4" Length.
