| The Harbinger of Menoth
is easily the most awe-inspiring miniature in the entire Warmachine
line. When assembled and painted, she is a daunting presence on
the table. That impression is further reinforced by fearsome reputation
as the one of the most powerful warcasters in the Protectorate
faction. The competition – on and off the table –
will tremble. This is a gorgeous figure and a game-changing miniature...

The Harbinger has rightfully earned a ferocious reputation due
to her combination with many of the other Protectorate miniatures,
especially the more lethal solos like High Paladin Dartan Vilmon
and the Exemplar Seneschal. She also brings a myriad of benefits
to all Protectorate warrior units that take the field alongside
her. The Harbinger was also a key part of the 2007 Nationals-winning
army.
The assembly and painting process,
however, can also be slightly daunting. This is not the sort of
miniature you can buy the day of the tournament, and hastily assemble
at the table. The figure comes with instructions, but you'll also
want to look online for more helpful tips. From experience, it
helps to assemble and paint The Harbinger apart from the three
monks on her base, and then add the final touches (the chains)
after everything else has been completely painted.
Also, if well-constructed, she's a stable miniature, but still
large and delicate enough that you'll also need to look for some
special means of transporting her.
Don't be dissuaded by the difficulty in assembling the figure
– The Harbinger of Menoth is a fantastic miniature and well-worth
the time and effort.
