Freebooter Miniatures is a continually expanding range of 30 mm metal miniatures sculpted by Werner Klocke, one of the best known names in 'the business'. The figures themselves are extremely detailed and of very high quality, and cover a variety of subjects / themes - often with a very unique take on some well established archetypes. They always remind me of a cross between Arthur Rackham illustrations and Terry Pratchett characters - a mix of the etheareal and whimsical that are never less than beautifully realised.

They were evenly matched otherwise: both were equally strong, the lean muscles of veteran hunters sliding under their skins with every movement like writhing snakes in the sun.
