Simply put, Discworld is
an imaginary world that looks like a disc carried on the backs
of four elephants, which in turn rest on the pockmarked shell
of a giant turtle called the Great A'Tuin. It is an invention
of the famous science fiction writer and satirist is Terry Pratchett.
Discworld, as one can guess, is the setting for many imaginative
tales. In fact, there are more than 30 novels set in the Discworld
universe to date. It is quite a complex world, with its own set
of political ideologies, cultures, paradigms, and general rules
of physics. It is also filled with magic, wizards, witches, gods,
goddeses, gargoyles, politicians, along with strange creatures
such as trolls, zombies, vampires who don't drink blood, werewolves
who are mostly vegetarian, and six-foot dwarves (adopted).

About this item:
Also known as Ghenghiz Cohen, Cohen the Barbarian is the last and greatest of the barbarian heroes. He is over 90 years old, which just shows how good he is at not dying. Known to be leader of the Silver Horde, a small group of similarly elderly barbarian heroes, many of whom have served with Cohen for numerous years. Like Cohen himself, the Silver Horde is very good at not dying in a line of work where insane risks and life-and-death gambles are relatively routine. Scenic base not included.

About this item:
Angua is an extremely practical and level-headed person. While not as cynical as Commander Samuel Vimes, she balances out Carrot's naïveté (although she occasionally wonders if he's really as innocent as he appears). In human form, Angua is a strict vegetarian. In wolf form, she has a tendency to go after chickens, but she is always careful to go back and slip some money under the door the next day.

About this item:
A member noted for being completely legless. Literally; a cart ran over his legs several years ago and he now gets around on a wheelbarrow, usually pushed by the Duck Man. He carries an old boot on a stick, so muggers desperate enough to try and rob the beggars often find themselves being kicked on the top of the head by a man 3 feet tall.

About this item:
Knowing what is Right is the bedrock of Granny Weatherwax's beliefs, and it is this that prevents her from using her considerable psychic and occult abilities for her own gain. It has also, thus far, been the primary limiting factor on her power; as she explains in Maskerade, if she was a bad witch she could break people's bones where they stood and manipulate their minds at will, but she can't be that bad witch.
