All orders from customers in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands) receive free postage. as standard, parcels being sent by 2nd Class post or Standard Parcels depending on weight. Customers in the UK can opt for either Recorded or Special Delivery if they want the peace of mind of a signed for service.
Orders from overseas customers (including Eire) are subject to a flat charge regardless of order size, with different rates being applicable to countries inside or outside of the EU.
UK Orders:
Freepost - applies to all orders unless another option is selected: Cost per order £0.00*
Recorded Delivery: (Up to £39 compensation, signature on delivery, online confirmation): Cost per order £1.95
Special Delivery: (Up to £500 compensation, signature on delivery, online confirmation): Cost per order £5.95
Inside EU Orders:
Airmail: (Up to £39 compensation): Cost per order £4.95
International Signed For: (Up to £250 compensation, signature on delivery, online confirmation): Cost per order £9.95
Outside EU Orders:
Airmail: (Up to £39 compensation): Cost per order £6.95
International Signed For: (Up to £250 compensation, signature on delivery, online confirmation): Cost per order £15.95
Orders are despatched within 3 working days of your payment clearance where all items are in stock. In some cases, there may be items on your order that are out of stock - in this instance you'll be informed of the shortage and offered the option to split the order (with stocked items being sent straight away) or waiting for all items to become available before despatch is made - we can provide you an estimated lead time on backordered items.
Overall, 2nd Class postage within the UK generally takes between 3-5 working days, and Standard Parcels up to 7 working days. Overseas orders will vary depending on destination, but usually take between 1-4 weeks.
All orders are sent either in a padded (i.e. bubble wrap) envelope of sturdy cardboard box depending
on contents / size. Delicate items such as books / magazines / brushes etc will also be reinforced with cardboard to try and prevent damage en route.
Due to the Royal Mail's weight / size restrictions, your order may be sent in multiple parcels - we'll let you know if this is the case in your order confirmation email.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for damage inflicted on package contents, but if you return the damaged goods to us we'll provide replacements free of charge.
Overseas customers (i.e. those outside the UK) may be subject to import of customs charges. These vary according to country and we are not liable for them. Please note that parcels outside the EU must be covered by a UK CN22 Customs form.
If your order hasn't been received within 18 working days (or 28 working days for orders outside the UK), you should advise us in writing (email is fine) and replacement items will be despatched. Please note that if you haven't opted for Recorded /Special Delivery (or International Signed For in the case of overseas orders) we cannot offer a refund, only replacement items.
We do retain proof of postage against all orders, so don't worry about chasing the Royal Mail yourself - let us know and we'll deal with them! In the case of insured postage, there is the added benefit of traceable delivery.
Due to the size of some packages, it's sometimes the case that the parcel has been retained at a sorting office (although you should receive an 'Attempted Delivery' card, oftentimes these aren't left) so it's always worth a call to your local postal depot to see if they're holding any items for you.
