The
Brood are a shadowy and mysterious race. They can trace back

They are actually composed of two separate species that long

These remnants of humanity had survived the collapse and subsequent
abandonment of their United Worlds benefactors. They had survived
the riots and the dark years that followed...

from their former Forsaken brethren the ancestor of the Skarrd
were left to die, fleeing their homes towards the deadly northern
desert known as the Great Expanse. Who knows what happened
